Symptom:
After upgrading to Windows 11, the error message Invalid descriptor is displayed when printing to a HP DesignJet 500 PS plus 42 plotter.

Solution:
In fact, whatever the model of your plotter, make sure you have installed the latest driver available for it.
In this case, for the plotter mentioned above, the last existing version of the driver is the version 8.10 which can be downloaded from the following link:
