The licence for your TopSolid software can be generated from your computer's identifier.
This identifier is calculated from several of your computer's devices, in particular the network card. It is unique, depends on the version of TopSolid you are using (TopSolid v6 or TopSolid7) and can be obtained in two different ways.

If TopSolid v6 (TopSolid'Wood) is installed on your computer:

• Double click on the TopSolid shortcut,
• TopSolid starts in demonstration mode and displays the dialog box below:

• The id is displayed in the Network adapter field, you can copy it and forward it to your local reseller in order to generate the license.

If TopSolid v6 (TopSolid'Wood) is not installed on your computer:

• Install the TopID.msi application either from soit the \Setup\x86 folder of the TopSolid media that you have downloaded, or by downloading the TopID 6.2x.msi file from our ftp site by copying/pasting the link below into a Windows explorer:
  • ftp://ftp.topsolid.com/Public/TopSolid/Goodies/
• When the application is installed, double click on the TopID icon available on the Windows desktop,

• TopID displays the window below:

• The id is displayed in the Network adapter field, you can copy it and forward it to your local reseller in order to generate the license.

If TopSolid7 is installed on your computer::

• Double click on the TopSolid shortcut,
• TopSolid displays the window below:

• Click on the Yes button, the Licences dialog box below is displayed:

• Choose the Standalone licenses tab (1), then click on the Copy (2) button next to the Unique identifier field and forward it forward it to your local reseller in order to generate the license.

If TopSolid7 is not installed on your computer:

• Install the TopSolid'ID x64.msi application either from soit the \Setup\x64 folder of the TopSolid media that you have downloaded, or by downloading the TopSolid'ID 7.1x x64.msi file from our ftp site by copying/pasting the link below into a Windows explorer:

• When the application is installed, double click on the TopID icon available on the Windows desktop,

• TopSolid'IDdisplays the window below:

• The identifier is displayed in the Unique identifier field, you click on the Copy value button and forward it forward it to your local reseller in order to generate the license.
