In the case of mold design or progressive tooling, the notion of local parts should be avoided as it does not fit with the needs of this type of study.

If you have local parts in a study (displayed with the following icon in the entity tree: ), you may have an option that is not configured properly.

Run the Tools > Options command, open the Assembly > Parts Operation options and set the option Parts list modification method to Derive part for modification :
